This chain ring set is for the Bafang BBS 01/02 motor.
First there was the Bling Ring, now there is the Bling Ring of Steel… 1045 Steel in fact, Heat Treated for durability, Nickel plated for your viewing pleasure . Engineered to outlast everything before it.
40 tooth rings for the Bafang systems give you that low climbing gear for great off-road performance. Lekkie achieves this by reducing your motor size by fitting a drive cover that is smaller than the stock drive cover on the side of your Bafang motor. Then a very accurate and fine chain ring design makes use of the minimal remaining space.
By using heat treated 1045 steel we get a long lasting and strong ring with minimal material, so you can get a great offset for your chain line and the low gearing for those technical rides.
A very carefully designed tooth pattern helps create a smooth chain pick up especially on installations with bad chain line. This ring is compatible with the new Shimano 12 speed chain as well as KMC and SRAM Eagle chains. Optimised for 12-speed chains but compatible with most other chains.
To be able to run a 40T you must run the Lekkie Drivecover otherwise you will damage the sprocket!
