Conversion report:

Motor Fitment Motor needed to be spaced out by 11mm rt clear the chain-stay so we fitted a 83mm BBSHD motor. It fitted perfectly with no spacers required between the locking plate and motor. Battery DP6 battery mounted to the bottle cage mounts , two sets on mounts so used one form each set of mounts to spread the load. Drivetrain Lekkie Bling Ring 42T Pro package was fitted, no spacers required and still had a few mm clearance. If wanted a better chain-;line you could file the chain-stay to allow the motor to move over further.

Bike Performance:

The BBSHD provided more than enough power for this conversion. A powerful and responsive riding experience on this electric bike conversion.

Making your bike electric since 2014

Our team has been making bikes electric since before it was cool.

Having your bike built as electric was one of the only ways to get an electric bike before the main manufactures caught on.

Converted has built thousands of electric bikes over the years and is New Zealand’s longest running and most established conversion specialists.

We have made many happy customers that have come back for new builds for themselves and their family over the years.

Great service, great performance, reliability and readily available parts are the key reasons our converts stick with Converted systems.

Give us a call and lets see if your bike can be made electric.
