Conversion report:
Very easy motor fitment, just added a 2mm spacer behind the motor to clear the chain-stay. Used few M6 washers for left side. Plenty of room for any battery on down tube. Lekkie Bling Ring 42T 01/02 plus 2mm Bling Ring spacer.
Bike Performance:
This 2008 Giant Talon electric bike conversion is a comfortable ride. Sporting the 500w BBS02 and 36v battery it has a good mix of range and hill climbing capability. This is a fun conversion to ride, and thanks to the hard tail frame has the potential for some fun rides as well.
